Plaform

Emplifi-provided role templates are now editable

Emplifi’s predefined role templates — Team Admin, Team User, Care Agent, Community Specialist (without approval), Content Creator (without approval), and Social Media Analyst — have been converted from read-only system templates to editable custom templates. You can now modify these templates directly and, when you save changes, choose to propagate them to any child roles connected to the template.

If your account was already using Teams, any child roles previously created from these system templates are automatically connected to their updated versions, so they can benefit from parent-child sync going forward without any manual reconfiguration.

This feature is available on Team accounts.

Manage collaboration between teams

Platform Admins can now control collaboration between individual teams, enabling more granular access structures for enterprise accounts.

In a restrictive account, collaboration is off by default for all teams. Platform Admins can explicitly enable it between selected teams, building the collaboration structure their organization needs. When collaboration is enabled between two teams, the relationship is bidirectional and reflected in both teams' configurations. The collaboration overview is visible to all users within their scope of visibility.

This feature is only available in restrictive accounts. To benefit from team-level collaboration controls, contact your Customer Success Manager or Emplifi Support at support@emplifi.io to switch your account to restrictive mode.

This feature is available on Team accounts.

Analytics

Facebook Metric Deprecation

  • Several Facebook unique reach metrics have been retired at the Meta platform level in June 2026. As part of this change, Emplifi is has rolled out updated reach reporting across Content, Dashboard, Unified Analytics, and the Emplifi API. Read more here: Facebook Metric Deprecation (June 2026)

Unified Analytics: Profile vs. Profile label boards

  • Removed the Profile: Average interactions per 1k followers by interaction types and Profile label: Average interactions per 1k followers by interaction type trend widgets from all Profile vs. Profile label boards (FB, IG, CP, X, YouTube, LinkedIn). These widgets returned the same value for all interaction types due to a fundamental limitation in how engagement rate is calculated, and had no active usage. The Average interactions per 1k followers by media type widget remains available as an alternative.

Care

Granular permissions in Care

Care now uses a set of independent, granular permissions instead of the fixed Agent and Supervisor roles. Administrators can combine permissions freely to create role structures that match their team’s needs — for example, a team lead who can manage views and case fields without full administrative access, or an agent restricted from deleting cases.

What changed for existing users:

All existing accounts are migrated automatically. Users previously assigned the Agent role receive the Manage cases and Delete cases permissions. Users previously assigned the Supervisor role receive the full set of Care permissions.

The Spam view, previously accessible only to Supervisors, is now visible to all users with access to Care.

This feature is available on Teams accounts and Legacy governance model accounts.
