Community and Care

Automated sentiment tagging of TikTok comments in now available in Community and Care.

Where is the new sentiment data available?

  • As individual sentiment tags - in Community messages and Care cases originated from TikTok comments

(info) Similarly to how automated sentiment tagging is done for all the other social media platforms, when the sentiment of a TikTok comment is detected automatically, the sentiment icon is marked with a letter A.

  • As aggregated data:

    • In Dashboard, in the Community and Care widgets where the sentiment is available as a filter or a breakdown

    • In Unified Analytics, in the widgets on the Care boards and in custom Community widgets where sentiment is available as a filter or a breakdown

How is it going to affect you?

  • You are going to see your TikTok profiles in the list of profiles in SettingsAutomationSentiment.

    • If automated sentiment tagging is already enabled in your Emplifi account for all profiles on all platforms, it is also going to be enabled for your TikTok profiles.
You can disable it if you want.

    • If automated sentiment tagging is not enabled in your Emplifi account at all or is enabled just for some profiles or platforms, it is going to be disabled for your TikTok profiles.
You can enable it if you want.

  • For the TikTok profiles with automated sentiment tagging enabled, the existing Community messages and Care cases missing a sentiment are going to be tagged with a sentiment automatically.
(info) Any existing sentiment that was assigned manually will not be changed.

  • You can always manually change any sentiment that was assigned automatically.
