Why use this board

Use this board to compare Facebook insight metrics between two periods; track how reach and engagement patterns shifted over time.

Board controls

  • Facebook Profiles: Select profile.

  • Date range: Defaults to the last 30 days. The board subtitle shows the active range when available.

  • Compare period: Previous period, Previous day, Previous week, Previous month, Previous quarter, Previous year. Default: Previous period.

  • Aggregated by: Day, Week, Month, Quarter, Year.

  • Page impressions: Day, 7-day, 28-day.

  • Page reach: Day, 7-day, 28-day.

What it measures: The average number of reactions (Like, Love, Wow, etc.) per day received by posts during the selected date range. Shown as a KPI with period-over-period change — use it to see whether the metric is rising or falling.

What it measures: The lowest number of reactions received by a page post on a given day during the selected date range. Shown as a single KPI — use it as the headline number for the selected period.

Reactions by type trend

What it measures: The distribution of reactions (Like, Love, Wow, etc.) received by posts during the selected date range, segregated by reaction type. This metric does not count reactions to reshared content. Shown as stacked bars — each segment shows a category's share of the total; use it to see composition, not just the headline number.

What it measures: The average daily page reach recorded during the selected date range. Page reach counts all views of your page's content, including posts, albums, stories in news feeds, and unpublished (dark) posts. Page impressions trend by daily rolling window

What it measures: An overview of the total number of times users viewed the selected pages during the selected date range, aggregated using a rolling window for the selected time period (e.g., day, 7-day, or 28-day). When comparing time periods, the chart displays only the most recent 1-day, 7-day, or 28-day total for each period. Shown as bars over time — use it to compare day-by-day or period-by-period volume and spot spikes.
