When you connect a social profile, Emplifi loads historical data so you can use analytics right away. How far back that data goes depends on the network, profile type, and whether you need post history or profile insights.
Social networks can change what data they provide without notice. The ranges below reflect what Emplifi loads today.

Overview
When you connect a profile, Emplifi runs an initial data load (backfill) for that network. After that, scheduled syncs refresh a rolling recent window — not the full connect depth every time.
Post history covers individual posts and their performance. Profile insights cover account-level trends (reach over time, follower changes, page views). Emplifi loads them on separate schedules, so depth can differ on the same network.
On Facebook and Instagram, a weekly long-history sync also reloads older post and post-insight data. That sync does not extend how far back profile insights go.

Troubleshooting
Why are Instagram Story insights missing?

Cause: Story insights expire in about 24 hours on the network.

Why is my public profile missing reach or impressions?

Cause: Public profiles use public engagement and content metrics, not owned insights.

Why is public-profile YouTube history only about two weeks?

Cause: Public-profile YouTube loads much less history on connect than owned YouTube.

Solution: This is normal for public profiles. Connect an owned YouTube profile if you need up to about 2 years of history.
Why are Facebook Reels missing on a public profile?

Cause: Facebook Reels insights are available for owned profiles only.

Solution: Connect an owned Facebook profile to see Reels insights.
Why does data look stale for a few hours?

Cause: Analytics refresh runs every few hours, not instantly.

Solution: Wait for the next sync, or check whether your account uses a high-frequency product (about 15 minutes).
Why are metrics empty for older dates?

Cause: Your date range may exceed the connect window, or the network may no longer return data for those dates.

Solution: Confirm whether you need post history or profile insights. Check whether the profile is owned or public. Narrow the date range to the connect window for that network.
