Why use this board

Use this board to compare cross-network profile metrics between two date ranges and explain what improved, declined, or held steady in your monthly or quarterly report.

Board controls

  • Owned Profiles: Select profile.

  • Date range: Defaults to the last 30 days. The board subtitle shows the active range when available.

  • Compare period: Previous period, Previous day, Previous week, Previous month, Previous quarter, Previous year. Default: Previous period.

  • Aggregated by: Day, Week, Month, Quarter, Year.

  • Engagement rate: Impressions engagement rate, Reach engagement rate. Default: Impressions engagement rate.

What it measures: The total number of times users engaged with a content piece that was published by selected profiles during the selected date range. Note: This metric shows both organic and boosted data for Facebook, X, and TikTok, and only organic data for Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn. Shown as a KPI with period-over-period change — use it to see whether the metric is rising or falling.

Followers growth by platform

What it measures: The distribution of the increase or decrease in the total number of followers over the selected date range, segregated by social media platform. Note: Snapchat data is not available for this metric due to API limitations. Shown as vertical bars — compare categories side by side to see which drives the most volume.

Impressions engagement rate trend

What it measures: An overview of the percentage of users who engaged with a content piece that was published by selected profiles during the selected date range, divided by the number of content impressions. Data is segregated by content publication date and platform. Note: This metric shows both organic and boosted data for Facebook, X, TikTok and YouTube, and only organic data for Instagram and LinkedIn. Shown as a trend over time — use it to spot spikes, drops, and seasonality across the selected period.

Engagements trend

What it measures: An overview of the percentage of users who engaged with a content piece that was published by selected profiles during the selected date range, divided by the number of content impressions. Data is segregated by content publication date and platform.
