Content Hub gives you a sample of comments under your posts so you can understand audience sentiment at a glance. It is not designed for full comment analysis, export, or moderation workflows.
Use this article to understand what comments in Content Hub include, why comment counts can differ across views, and when to use Community instead.
What comments in Content Hub are for
Content Hub comments help you:
-
See a sample of what people are saying under a post
-
Review post-level sentiment based on available comments
-
Get a quick qualitative read on audience feedback
What Content Hub comments are not for
Content Hub comments are not intended for:
-
Viewing every comment on a high-engagement post
-
Exporting a complete comment set for offline analysis
-
Replying to, moderating, or escalating comments
-
Deep comment filtering or workflow management
For those tasks, use Community.
Why comment counts can differ
You may see different comment numbers in different parts of Emplifi. This is expected.
|
Where you look |
What the number represents |
|---|---|
|
Post tile or table in Content -> Feed |
Total comment count reported by the social platform for that post |
|
Comments section in post detail |
Comments available to Content Hub for that view |
|
Community |
Comments collected for engagement and care workflows |
The comment count on a post in Content -> Feed reflects the platform-reported total. The Comments section in post detail may show fewer comments. Content Hub and Community use different data sources, so their comment counts are not directly comparable.
Community is the source of truth when you need to work with comments at scale.
Comment export from post detail
You can export comment data from post detail as XLSX. The export includes the comments shown in the Comments section, not necessarily every comment reported on the native platform.
To export a fuller comment set, use Community. See Export and Share Community Data.
