What types of messages are filtered?
The Facebook target country condition in Flow Automations currently works only when post-level location data exists. This type of data is assigned to organic posts that include feed targeting or gating.
To help you understand what you can expect the filter to capture, the following list explains what type of messages the filter will capture:
Posts created through Facebook Business Manager with a country specified in the restricted audience setting (non-boosted/non-ad). This includes the comments made to these posts.
Posts created through Emplifi Publisher that use feed gating or feed targeting. This includes the comments made to these posts.
Posts created through third-party products that interact with the same APIs as Emplifi Publisher. This includes the comments made to these posts.
What types of messages won’t be filtered?
The assignment of location data is determined by Facebook. Generally, posts that are created as part of an ad-set or as part of a campaign do not have post-level targeting data, and instead have ad-level or ad set-level targeting data. These posts and any of their comments cannot be filtered by the Facebook target country condition because they lack post-level data.
