The Active Column

The active column of the Commerce Product Catalog Feed Format and the TurnTo Catalog Feed Format determines if a product appears within widgets and review incentive emails.

When a product is set to inactive, the following happens conditions apply to that product:

• The product is excluded from Review Solicitation Emails and Review Incentive Emails

• The product does not appear in “related content”. This means content the product is linked to through virtual product codes (VPC) or bundle members.
  This option is configurable. Please contact your Customer Success Manager to enable inactive products in Related Content.

• The product is excluded from past purchases in checkout comments.

• The product is excluded from the User Unreviewed Purchases endpoint in the TurnTo API for Emplifi Ratings & Reviews.

• The product is excluded from the ‘Do More’ widget.
