Unified Analytics

Review Individual Listening Mentions behind Aggregated Data

In Unified Analytics, when reviewing the dashboards under the Listening module, you can now click the View in Content Hub icon in any row of any table on a dashboard, and it will redirect you to Content, where you can see the related content that makes up the data in this table row.

This helps you see the individual pieces of the content behind the aggregated data.

The data sources and filters applied in Unified Analytics are automatically propagated to Content to ensure data consistency.

Compare Multiple Profile Labels

In Unified Analytics, you can now directly compare performance of two or more profile labels using the dedicated tab and analyze content or profile data aggregated by specific labels.

Community

Use Asterisk to Enhance Search Results

In Community, when searching for Community messages that contain specific words, you can now use an asterisk (*) to replace any number of characters at the end of a searched word.

This helps you enhance your search results by finding Community messages containing related variants for a searched word - the words that start with the same letters.

For example, enter summer* to search for cases containing words like summer, summerhouse, summertime, and similar.

Open Listening Results in Unified Analytics in One Click

In Content, when you are reviewing listening queries, clicking Analyze results now redirects you to Unified Analytics, where the results of the listening queries are presented on the Aggregated overview dashboard under Listening. This helps you switch from viewing to analyzing in just one click.

The data sources and filters applied in Content are automatically propagated to the Aggregated overview dashboard to ensure data consistency.

Security

Additional Verification in case of Unusual User Activity

We added an extra level of security to the Emplifi platform.

If we detect that your user behavior has changed compared to your regular usage patterns (for example, when you are logging in from a different location or a different browser than you normally do), we will ask you to confirm that it is really you trying to access the Emplifi account before we log you in.

Don’t worry, the verification will take only a couple of minutes!

Facebook Metric Deprecations

Yes, plural! Deprecations 🙂

In this section, we are discussing two separate deprecations of Facebook metrics by Meta - with different timelines.

March 2024 Deprecation

In March 2024, Meta deprecated several Facebook metrics that we used in the Emplifi analytics products. For more details about the impact, see Facebook Metrics Deprecation (March 2024).

As a part of the process, we kept the historical data for six months to ensure continuity of your analytics.

On October 2, 2024, the historical data, affected metrics, and widgets will be deleted as a part of the scheduled Emplifi release.

If you want to download your data, please do so before October 1, 2024.

September 2024 Deprecation

On September 16, 2024, Meta deprecated another set of Facebook metrics that affected our analytics tools. We stopped using the deprecated metrics on September 15, 2024, to avoid any unexpected impact of the deprecation on our APIs.

For more information, see Facebook Metric Deprecation (September 2024).
