Integration of Instagram “Views" Metric as "Media Views"

Along with the deprecation of Instagram’s insight metrics (for details, see Instagram Insights Metrics Deprecation (April 21, 2025) and Views Integration - Updated), we are introducing the Instagram views metric into all analytics products in Emplifi under the “Media views” name.

“Media views” is now the new primary metric of Instagram data.

Scope

  • The new Instagram metric is available only on owned profiles with insights (no public profiles).

  • It works to any Instagram content (post, story, reel).

Data backfill
We will download all possible historical data from the API (approximately from August 2024).

Deprecation of Instagram Insight Metrics - April 2025

As per the Meta’s announcement, several Instagram insights metrics will be deprecated on April 21, 2025. You can find more information in the Meta’s changelog.

The good news is that we found a way how to mitigate the impact by remapping available data from other metrics into the existing analytics tools.

Publishing Instagram Collaboration Posts

You can now schedule and publish Instagram Collaboration posts directly through Emplifi Publisher, making it easier than ever to co-create with influencers, partners, and brand ambassadors. You can invite up to three collaborators per a post. The invitations are sent once your post is published.

Updates for Product Tags and Call-to-Action Links on Assets

Based on your feedback, we added the ability to assign multiple call-to-action (CTA) links and also include product tags for your assets in galleries.

Before this update, when a user added a CTA link to a photo that had product tags, those product tags were overridden by the CTA, and only the CTA appeared in a gallery.

Now, you can attach one or more Links (call-to-actions) to a piece of user-generated content (UGC). Links can point to any URL: product pages, campaign landers, category pages, and more.

For this change, we redesigned the asset editor and renamed Assign-Call-to-Action Link to Links.

We also redesigned the Edit Display screen for galleries. Lightbox type is renamed to Gallery Link. By enabling a gallery link, you can have a CTA that shows across all content that is part of the gallery. The gallery link can override existing links and products or be added to existing links and products.

To make sure existing galleries that used CTAs do not break with this update, the default setting is to override existing links. This means that if you do nothing, your galleries will continue to function the same.

Web Messenger Close Behaviors and Visualization Bugfixes

This release includes:

  • An update to Web Messenger close behavior
    This involves making the close button for webchats persistent and easier to access improving experience consistency between desktop and mobile devices.

  • A bugfix for an intermittent visualization issue
    In rare circumstances, when switching between languages, the connectors between Bot nodes would sometimes not visualize. This issue has now been resolved.
