New Board for UGC
As part of our move to consolidate our platform analytics to one place, we’ve added a new board for the Emplifi UGC module to Unified Analytics: Gallery interactions.
The widgets in this board give you a breakdown of key Emplifi UGC gallery (display/widget) interaction metrics to gain a better understanding of how your galleries are performing.
The information this board provides is the same as the information provided by the widget interaction section inside UGC Performance Analytics. All UGC customers who do not already have Unified Analytics will receive access to Unified Analytics, free of charge.

New Instagram Widget: Top Stories by Engagement
In Unified Analytics, you can now easily review your top Instagram stories sorted by engagement.
The new Top stories by engagement widget is available on the Story engagement board for Instagram.
The Content widget on the Content performance board is using sort by interactions. Because stories do not have the interaction metric, the Content widget cannot be filtered by stories.

[EARLY ACCESS] Publish to Meta Threads
Threads for Emplifi Publisher is currently in early access. Some features may not be available until the full release. If you do not see the option to create and publish to a Threads profile and would like access before the general release, please contact your Customer Success Manager.
You can now publish to your Threads accounts via Publisher.
How to start?
Add Threads accounts to your Emplifi account (see Add an Owned Profile for Your Threads Account).
Now, you can go to Publisher and create posts to your Threads accounts (seeCreate, Schedule, and Preview a Post and Threads Publishing).
When added to the Emplifi account, Threads profiles are handled similarly to profiles on social media platforms like Facebook or TikTok that you may already have. You can find all your Threads profiles under Settings -> Channels -> Social profiles.
Where else are Threads profiles supported?
Currently, Threads is supported only in Publisher. We are working on implementing support for Threads in the other modules of the Emplifi platform, stay tuned!
Do you have questions?

Gallery Direct Uploader: Instagram as a Source Deprecation
Meta’s decision impacts all partners that rely on the affected APIs, including Emplifi and all our competitors.
Due to changes in Meta’s API for Instagram, the ability to collect Instagram content from customers through the Emplifi UGC Gallery Direct Uploader no longer works.
The now-defunct API allowed normal Instagram users (non-business/creator accounts) to login to their profiles through our Gallery Direct Uploader to share their content directly to Emplifi UGC Galleries. Meta’s new API does not offer an alternative to this feature.
Fortunately, the impact of the decision is expected to be minimal. From looking at our Gallery Direct Uploader usage statistics, only a small percentage of people actually used the option to upload content directly from their Instagram account. Most uploads are actually completed by transferring files directly from a PC (or mobile file directories).
Meta’s removal of this API does not affect your ability to collect Instagram content into your Empifi UGC albums by @mentions or #tags. Album collection from within UGC is unaffected.

Instagram Metric Deprecation (January 2025)
As per Meta’s announcement, several media and profile insight metrics for Instagram will be deprecated on January 8, 2025.
Meta’s decision impacts all partners that rely on the affected APIs, including Emplifi and all our competitors.
As part of the deprecation communication efforts, we are adding deprecation warning messages to the affected widgets and metrics.
