Community Q&A Widgets
Emplifi Ratings & Reviews Community Q&A widgets includes the Instant Answers widget and the Q&A List widget, which combine to enable your customers to sort through existing knowledge quickly, ask new questions, and find accurate answers.
Installing Community Q&A widgets
Steps:
Place the following code into the

Widget refresh function
Some Product Detail Pages (PDPs) are architected in a way that makes it possible to switch product SKUs without reloading the page. For these pages, the TurnToCmd 'set' function can be used re-initialize the Emplifi content / components given the new SKU context.

Conversion tracking
Instant Answers and Q&A List widgets are not currently reported in Emplifi conversion reporting.

Instant Answers widget
The Instant Answers widget allows shoppers to ask a question and see relevant Q&A, reviews, and/or knowledge base article results instantly. If no results answer their question, the shopper can easily submit a new question of up to 2,000 characters. The Instant Answers widget shows the following elements:

Search results
Clicking the 'Learn more' link shows in place a fully-customizable set of guidelines for using the Instant Answers widget. Emplifi strongly recommends that you customize this text to provide clear content guidelines and customer support contact information.
Search results
The Instant Answer search mechanism shows relevant existing content in real time, ensuring that you aren't collecting duplicate questions that have already been answered by a previous question or a relevant knowledge base article.
When a shopper starts typing in the Emplifi Instant Answers search box, our search mechanism begins looking for matching questions and knowledge base articles. As the shopper continues typing, the widget updates and refines the results to provide the best match. Results display in order of relevance.
The search queries all content from the page's Q&A List widget. You can configure each list widget to only display direct content or to include related content for the product SKU. This related product configuration affects whether the search results only show direct content or include related content.
Related content that is configured to display separately in a '...for Similar Products' section is not included in Instant Answers search results. To help shoppers find answers, if a question has zero answers we exclude it from the search results.

These optional settings are not managed within the Emplifi installation code. Contact Emplifi Support to enable, disable, or adjust these settings.

Q&A List widget
The Q&A List widget displays a list of shopper questions and answers for a product. Most customers choose to place the Q&A List widget directly below the Instant Answers widget. Questions, answers, and replies have a 2,000-character limit.
The Q&A List widget shows the following elements:
Total question count ('# questions')
Sort / Filter - only displays if there are 3 or more questions for a SKU. Allows sorting of questions by most recent, oldest, most common, most answers, and fewest answers.
Question List - all published questions and associated answers and replies for this product
Pagination
No question display
The Q&A List widget does not display when there are no questions.
Multiple answers per question
For questions with multiple answers, this is how Emplifi sorts answers:
Show staff answers first
Depends on the Show staff answers first option in Emplifi Portal > Q&A Settings
Sort by votes, highest first
For tie votes, show the longest answer first
Sort by date
