AI Review Topics analyzes the most linguistically prominent words or phrases within the reviews of a product to generate a list of themes or topics associated with those words that shoppers can then use to filter product reviews by those areas of interest.
How do AI Review Topics Work?
Our LLM (large language model) processes the reviews of a particular product to identify linguistically prominent words or phrases contained within the reviews for that product. From this analysis, it generates a list of relevant themes or topics associated with these key terms. The AI then maps existing and incoming reviews to the topics it relates to, helping shoppers navigate large volumes of reviews more efficiently.
A product needs to have at least 50 product reviews before we can analyze the reviews for relevant topics. For products that share a virtual parent code (VPC), there must be at least 50 reviews across all of the products.
The topic filter is shown in a special Customers talk about section of the Review List Widget. The order of the topics is determined by the number of reviews identified for each topic.
