This article was updated on December 7, 2023 to specify which metrics/widgets are restored. Scroll down to the Impacted areas section.
On October 3, 2023, due to the changes made to the Twitter API, we stopped gathering data about mentions and comments for Twitter accounts that were added to your Emplifi account as public profiles. This change does not affect the Twitter accounts that were added as owned profiles.
If you have any question or need assistance, contact your Customer Success Manager.
How this change can affect you
You may be affected if you have public Twitter profiles in your Emplifi account and you analyze their data about comments and mentions.
Specifically, you may see that the following sections of your Emplifi account are missing data for the public Twitter profiles after October 3, 2023:
-
The widget Sentiment of comments in the Dashboard module
-
The Number of Mentions graph on the Overview panel on the Analytics module
-
The Content module, in particular:
-
Brand content and user-generated content
-
Comments under tweets
-
The aggregated sentiment of comments
-
If you do not have public Twitter profiles in your Emplifi account or if you do not track the data that are specified above, you are not affected.
For information about what public profiles and owned profiles are, see Add a Profile as Owned (Private) or Public.
