Flag a Review or Visual Content

Sometimes you might receive a review or visual content that requires additional context for moderation decisions. When this happens, moderators can flag the review or visual content to provide additional context for their actions.

Steps:

  1. Click the Flag icon on the review or visual content.
The Flags panel opens on the review or visual content.
(info)If the review or visual content has at least one flag, the Flags panel is always open.

  2. Select which flags to add:

    • For reviews, you can select up to three flags:

      • For CS
The review is sent to your customer service team so they can take action.

      • Needs response
The review requires someone from the team to respond to the review.

      • Inappropriate
The review has content that requires it to be hidden (for example obscene content as defined in relation to the relevant jurisdiction of a particular country). Shoppers can also flag a review as inappropriate.

    • For visual content, you can select up to two flags:

      • IP
The visual content is intellectual property. Shoppers can also flag visual content as an IP violation.

      • Inappropriate
The visual content contains material that requires it to be hidden (for example obscene content as defined in relation to the relevant jurisdiction of a particular country). Shoppers can also flag visual content as inappropriate.

Flagging a review moves it to the Moderate → Reviews → Flagged section of the portal. Flagging visual content moves it to the respective flag category in Moderate → Visuals.
