Customize an Ads Content Query

This article explains how to edit, view details, remove, or exclude items, from an ads content query in the search bar, and change how filters are combined. You can build the query with Whisperer or the Search options panel. In both cases, the query appears in the search bar.

View and edit the search bar

  1. In Content Hub, go to Ads and build or run a query so the search bar shows your current query.

  2. Hover over an item in the search bar to see the tooltip with its details.

  3. To remove an item from the query, click the item, then click Remove.

  4. To exclude an item (negative filtering), click the item, then click Exclude.

Hover the cursor over an item in the search bar to bring out the tooltip with the details.

Use the boolean operators

Query items are combined with the following operators:

  • OR: Applies between entities and filters of the same type (for example, between ad accounts and campaigns).

  • AND: Applies between different entities and filters.

  • ANY: Default relationship between the selected labels. Click ANY to switch to ALL. clicking ANY

Hover over the results count to see the exact query logic that was used.

Example:

Based on Ad account X OR Ad account Y OR Campaign X OR Campaign Y AND Campaign Objective X OR Campaign Objective Y AND Platform X OR Platform Y
