The SSO Migration Guide for Azure Active Directory
Emplifi and Astute has joined their forces to become Emplifi. To offer the best experience from both tools, we’ve started transforming all our applications to one unified platform. The platform now covers Social Media Marketing, Commerce, and Care.
To continue with a smooth and secured login process, we would like to ask you for cooperation with migrating your current SSO setup to the new domain.
These guides describe the steps required to set up SSO details within third-party products. Process and UI changes are subject to change and Emplifi therefore accepts no liability associated with them.
What’s needed?
Your Identity Provider (IdP) configuration needs to be updated.
The login domain URL https://<domain>.suite.socialbakers.com
has changed to https://<domain>.account.emplifi.io
. Therefore, you have to add new Emplifi URLs to your SSO configuration as described further in this article.
<domain>
in the URLs stands for the predefined domain that you used to log in to the former Socialbakers Suite.
Who can do that?
Someone who takes care of the SSO in your company. Usually, this person sits in a DevOps or IT team.
Where can it be done?
In your Azure Active Directory admin center.
How to do it
Log in to the Azure portal at https://aad.portal.azure.com/.
In the menu on the left, click Enterprise applications, then select All applications.
Select your Socialbakers or Emplifi integration from the list of applications.
The exact name of the integration may vary based on how you had called it in the past.Click Single sign-on on the left, and click Edit on the Basic SAML Configuration panel.
Add new URLs reflecting the new login domain:
In the Identifier (Entity ID) section, add the Emplifi identifier
https://<domain>.account.emplifi.io
, and mark it as the default.Do not delete the Socialbakers identifier
https://<domain>.account.socialbakers.com
. Keep both Emplifi and Socialbakers identifiers in the Identifier (Entity ID) section. In the Reply URL (Assertion Consumer Service URL) section, add the Emplifi reply URL
https://<domain>.account.emplifi.io/login/saml
, and select it as the default.Do not delete the Socialbakers reply URL
https://<domain>.account.socialbakers.com/login/saml
. Keep both Emplifi and Socialbakers reply URLs in the Reply URL (Assertion Consumer Service URL) section. If you’re using the signon URL, change the URL in the Sign on URL field to
https://<domain>.account.emplifi.io
.If you’re using the logout URL, change the URL in the Logout URL field to
https://<domain>.account.emplifi.io/logout
.
.
