Link Shortener Integration with Publisher

You can use Bit.ly to shorten the links in your Publisher content so your audience can focus on the message rather than on a long and complex URL.

Request the Link Shortener integration

To request Link Shortener, follow these steps:

1. In your Emplifi suite account, go to Settings.

2. Click Integrations & API.

3. Find Bit.ly integration and click Request.
   If you do not see the Request button, your account already supports shortening links with Bit.ly.

Shortening a link with Bit.ly

1. Go to Publisher.

2. Click Create a Post.

3. Click the Import preview link.
   A side panel will appear

4. Insert your URL link and check in the Shorten link option.

5. Click Add link.

6. Continue with designing your post.

Clicks on shortened links are tracked normally as any other link in Emplifi analytics.

However, Emplifi does not support connecting to a Bit.ly account and, as a result, Bit.ly native analytics is not accessible from the Emplifi platform.
