In this article, you will learn how to set up Emplify SSO for Okta, Onelogin, and MS Azure. All three of these providers include Emplifi in their catalogs.

These guides describe the steps required to set up SSO details within third party products. Process and UI changes are subject to change and Emplifi therefore accepts no liability associated with them.

Okta

Emplifi is listed in Okta's Trusted App catalog, and the integration is very straightforward:

  1. Open Okta administration.

  2. In the left-hand side menu, click Applications under Application.

  3. In the Application, window click on the “Browse App Catalog” blue button.

  4. Emplifi has a preconfigured integration. Simply search for "Emplifi" and on the new screen click Add Integration.

  5. Fill in the General settings and click Done.

  6. On the next screen switch to the Sign On tab. Click on the Edit and scroll to the Subdomain field, type the domain that you have selected in the Emplifi SSO self-service. Click Save to finalize.

  7. Still in the Sign On tab, click View Setup Instructions.

  8. A new screen will appear, here you can review the supported features. Copy and paste the Metadata URL to the Emplifi self-service.

  9. Follow the wizard and instructions in the Emplifi SSO self-service to finish the SSO setup.

OneLogin

Emplifi is listed in OneLogin’s Trusted App Catalogue, and the integration is very straightforward:

  1. Open OneLogin administration.

  2. Click Application in the top menu -> Click on the “Add App” button.

  3. Emplifi has a preconfigured integration, so search for "Emplifi" and click on it to add.

  4. Enter your desired Display name - how the app will appear in your administration and Save it.

  5. Move to the Configuration tab and type in the domain that you have selected in the Emplifi SSO self-service.

  6. Now, move to the SSO tab and ensure the SAML Signature Algorithm is set to SHA-256. Save

  7. Copy the Issuer URL OR click More Actions -> SAML Metadata. An XML file will be downloaded to your computer.

  8. Copy and paste the Metadata URL OR the file to the Emplifi self-service

  9. Follow the wizard and instructions in the Emplifi SSO self-service to finish the SSO setup. 

MS Azure

Emplifi is listed in MS Azure App Catalogue (Gallery), and the integration is very straightforward:

  1. Log in to your Azure portal https://aad.portal.azure.com/.

  2. There are a couple of ways how to get to the Azure AD Gallery. You can, for example, click on the “Add” button and select the “Enterprise application” on the Azure Active Directory page.

  3. Emplifi has a preconfigured integration, search for Emplifi platform.

  4. Click on the tile with the Emplifi logo to add it. In the new side panel click on “Create”.

  5. As a next step configure the Single sign-on using the SAML method.

  6. Edit the SAML Configuration. In the Identifier text box, add the domain you have entered to the Emplifi SSO Self-service:

    • https://<domain>.account.socialbakers.com

    • https://<domain>.account.emplifi.io

  7. Copy/paste the URLs from the Emplifi Self-service wizard to Reply URL, Sign-on URL, and other fields OR you can upload the metadata file you get in the Emplifi SSO Self-service.

  8. Save the Basic SAML Configuration at the top of the page.

  9. Copy and paste the metadata file to the Emplifi self-service.

  10. Follow the wizard and instructions in the Emplifi SSO self-service to finish the SSO setup.
